Robert Lee "Bobby" Hendricks

Robert Lee “Bobby” Hendricks, 81 of Chattaroy, WV departed this life Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from Tug Valley ARH Hospital, So. Williamson, KY.

Born February 12, 1942 in Logan, WV he was the son of the late Orville and Faye (Cyrus) Hendricks.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son: Robert (Buddy) Hendricks; son-in-law: Steven Carl Simpson; sisters: Brenda Lester, Patricia Rabie, and Evelyn Browning; brothers: Darrell Ray Hendricks, Roger Nathan Hendricks, James Ralph Hendricks, Ritchie Hendricks, and Mike Toler.

Robert was a construction worker, who enjoyed working with wood, building houses, and making things.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his daughters: Wanda Gail Simpson of Faber, VA, Freda Faye Davis of Williamson, WV, Katrina Hendricks of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren: Tiffany (Jeremiah) Johnson, Steven Keith (Maria) Simpson, Megan Skye Simpson; Savannah, Nicole, and Jacob Hendricks; great granddaughter: Shyloh Simpson; brother: Randy (Pam) Hendricks, of Verner, WV; sister: Lynn Gravely, of Verner, WV.  Robert also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV.  Funeral services will commence there at the chapel Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Browning officiating.

To honor his request, he will be cremated following services.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
