Roger Dale Davis, 66 of Long Branch section of Simon, WV, departed this life on Friday, July 15, 2022 from his residence.

Born May 13, 1956 in Raleigh County, he was the son of the late Bertha Mae (Akers) and Oakley Arthur Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers: Eddie and Tom Davis; sister: Elizabeth Mossey Mitchem.

Roger enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers, and spending time with his family.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his daughters: Selena Turner of Amigo, WV, Leslie (Matthew) Stalans of Odd, WV, Brooke (Justin) Walker of Beaver, WV; grandchildren: Erika Johnson King, Jesse Johnson, Mariah and Logan Stalans, Roman, Damon, Lincoln, Jaxon, and Sylvia Walker; sisters: Carolyn Sue West of Coal City, Nora Thomas and Lou Ella (Roger) Daugherty, all of Simon, WV, Martha (Lewis) Hylton, Connie (Fred) Akers of Odd, WV, Lisa Farley of Farco, WV, Francis Cricket Hunsenburger of Cool Ridge, WV, Annie Reed of Basin, WV; brothers: Arthur Davis of Pennsylvania, Claude (Libby) Davis of Fireco, WV, and Arnold Davis of Josephine, WV. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

To honor his request, he was cremated.
