Roger Lee Poe

Roger Lee Poe, 75 of Iaeger, WV departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV.

Born May 25, 1949, in Gilbert, WV he was the son of the late Josephine (Trent) and William “Bill” Poe.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Beulah (Cline) Poe; a host of siblings; grandchildren: John David Roberts, Branson Garrett Jones, and Baby Blankenship.

Roger enjoyed taking care of his animals, trading with his friends, being around and spending time with his grandchildren and his family.
Those left to  love and cherish his memory are his daughter: Donna Roberts (Walter Blankenship); grandchildren: Roger and Tanner Blankenship, Xavier Jones, Sonya (Brandon) Jones, all of Iaeger, WV, Jacob Roberts of Richland, VA, Michael (Jennifer) Roberts, Amanda Roberts and her son Kyler Rodgers, all of Kentucky, Michelle (Ryan) Beck, Brycelynn Beck, and Rylan Beck, All of Princeton, WV, Brian (Amy) Roberts, Heather Roberts, Charlee Roberts, Leeann Roberts, Dylan Carpenter, Natalie Roberts, Jeremiah Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Charles Roberts, William Crawley, all of North Carolina; his beloved sister: Ruby Hagy of Gilbert, WV; nieces: Donna (Teddy) England, Catrina (Rick) Endicott, Charlotte (Tracy) May; nephew: Junior (Tonya) Hagy.   He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

To honor his request, he has been cremated.

He will live on forever in our hearts.
