Ronald D. Wilson

Ronald D. Wilson, 80, of Hopewell Township passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Justice, West Virginia to the late Bub Roy Wilson and Marie Perry Wilson, he was the husband of the late Violet Farley Wilson.  He had been a Bridgeton area resident since 1959 coming to this area from his native West Virginia. 
Before his retirement, Ron had been employed with the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton for many years where he retired as Warehouse Supervisor.
He was a longtime member of the Bridgeton Assembly of God Church where he had served as treasurer and taught Sunday School for many years.  He was also an avid bowler and golfer.
Ron is survived by his family in West Virginia including his nieces and nephews, Amy Vance, Mark Smith and Lori Stacy along with his many friends in the Bridgeton area, including his neighbors, Mike and Narsie.
In addition to his wife, Violet, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert Wilson and two sisters, Shelby Smith and Lillie Wilson
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 11:00 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services.


Additional services will be held at the Mounts Funeral Home in Gilbert, WV on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 13th followed by interment at the Wilson Cemetery in Justice, WV
