Roy was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He loved all his family deeply. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. His favorite thing was sitting on his porch with family and friends. Roy started serving the Lord August 4, 2023, he was baptized September 3, 2023.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife and best friend of 61 years: Charlotte Ann (Toler) Walker; children: Crystal (James) Gibson, Roy (Leslie) and Darrell (Teresa) Walker; grandchildren: Andrew, Johnny “Jayjay” Paige, Chris, Keisha, Kyra, Tawanna, Roy “Austin”, and Bentley Walker, Micah Gibson, Kyle Williamson, special granddaughter that was like a daughter: Kaitlyn Trent; Roy had 21 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Roy had a special bond with all his family but for the past 9 months through his sickness he formed a strong bond with his grandson Andrew, Jayjay, and Chris. I, his daughter, want to thank my sons, Andrew Paige, Jayjay Paige, Chris Walker and my husband, James (Jay) Gibson for making it possible to make his wish of being home and leaving this world at home surrounded by his family happen. The help was greatly appreciated, especially from him because he said it daily.
