Ruby Lorene (Brewer) Green

Ruby Lorene (Brewer) Green, 85 of Hampden, WV departed this life Monday, May 27, 2024, from Trinity Healthcare, Logan, WV.

Born February 2, 1939, in Wayne County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Ruby (Marcum) Brewer.

In addition to her parents, Ruby is also preceded in death by her first husband: Jack Dillon.

Ruby enjoyed working in her flower beds, doing pottery, and working with her church ladies on recipe books.  She loved attending church when she was able to do so. 

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband: Lowell Green of Hampden, WV; sister: Louise Burke of Myrtle Beach, SC; special niece: Sharon (Ermal) Vance of Delbarton, WV; special nephew: Steven Barto of Austin, TX.  She also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, May 31, 2024, from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Denny May officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV.

Ruby will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
