“It is with our deepest regret that we must announce the passing of our beautiful and beloved Sarah Rose. Sarah Rose Smith was born March 1st, 1999, in Williamson, WV to Richard “Rick” Smith and Kimberly Smith formerly of Isaban, WV.
Sarah lived most of her life in Isaban, WV before becoming a resident of the Princeton, WV area. Sarah working in healthcare comes as no surprise as she was hard-working, kind and compassionate to everyone.
Sarah gave in death as she gave in life. Honoring her generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation. Sarah set the bar high for all that followed behind her. To know Sarah was to love her as she never met a stranger. Her quick wit and charismatic disposition made her booming and benevolent personality a welcome warmth in all gatherings.
Above all, Sarah’s greatest passion was for being a loving and devoted mother to her precious 6-year-old daughter, Lylah. Lylah was the apple of Sarah’s eye and Lylah ‘s happiness and well-being were paramount for Sarah.
Sarah is preceded in death by her mother, Kimberly Smith; maternal grandfather, Cletus Lester; maternal step grandfather, Jeff Warner; paternal grandparents Robert and Delia Smith.
Those of us left to cherish her memory and mourn this devastating loss are her father, Richard “Rick” (Dreama) Smith; her sister, Savannah (Chris Justice) Smith; maternal grandmother, Barbara Lester; an uncle, Jason (Jeri Sue) Lester; an aunt, Tracie (Robert) McNemar; her deeply loved nieces and nephew, Violet Justice, Kacie Justice, Elijah Justice; and 4 loving cousins, Sydney Lester, Mallory Lester, Rylan McNemar, Emerson McNemar; and host of family too extensive to name. “
Friends may gather with the family Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:00 till 6:00 pm at the Isaban Church of God, Isaban, WV. Services will commence there at the church at 6:00 pm with Rev. Mike Lucas officiating.
Sarah will be cremated following services.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
