Sarah Mae Toler Walls, 81 of Spice Creek, departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 3, 1938 at Guyan, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Bessie (Belcher) Toler.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband of 50 years Larry Clayton Walls; one son: Danny Walls; one grandson: Larry Walls; six brothers: Tracy Toler, Brady Toler, Odell Toler, Waymon Toler, Virgil Toler and Roger Toler; four sisters: Navy Vance, Avis Brown, Edna Brown and Freda Toler.
Sarah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved going to her summer home and going shopping. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Sarah and to mourn her passing include her daughter: Diana & Rev. James Ellis of Bruno; two sons: Jeffrey L. & Kathy Walls and Larry C. Walls both of Spice Creek; grandchildren: Allen Ellis, K.C. Ellis, Katie Brown, Tabitha Brumfield, Amanda Mitchell and Jessica Rogers; great grandchildren: Blake Brown, Caleigh Brown, Alexis Brumfield, Jayden Brumfield, Leandra (Lele) Mitchell, Jaxxon Ellis, Brenna Ellis and Morgan Ellis; one great-great grandchild: Theodore Ellis; three brothers: Donald Toler, Bill Toler and Harry Toler; one sister: Kay Bledsoe; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Christian Freewill Baptist Church from 6-9 pm. Funeral services will commence on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Roger Browning & Rev. Jackie Grimmett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Browning-Dye Cemetery at Verner.
Sarah will be carried to her final resting place by: Larry Brown, Chad Brumfield, Jason Mitchell, Justin Rodgers, Jaxxon Ellis, Allen Paugh and Jayden Brumfield.
Honorary pallbearers include: Allen Ellis, K.C. Ellis and Blake Brown.
Her tender heart and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
