Sharon Princess (Morgan) Lester

Sharon Princess Lester, 80 of Coal Mountain, WV departed this life Saturday, July 12, 2025, from CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

Born January 10, 1945, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the loving daughter of the late Tollison and Essie (Perry) Morgan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Roger Lee Lester; several brothers and sisters.

Sharon was a retired Postmaster, who enjoyed housekeeping and spending time with her family and friends.  She attended the Big Cub Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her loving daughter: Chelisa Lester of Coal Mountain, WV.  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other dear relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Hatfield and Rev. Louis Collins officiating.  Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny, WV.

Sharon will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
