Sharon Kay (Lester) Morgan

Sharon Kay (Lester) Morgan, 59 of Gilbert departed this life Thursday, April 7, 2022 from St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

Born on January 9, 1963 at Man, WV she was the daughter of Mary Francis (Kovach) Lester Stevens and the late General Edsel Lester.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Bennett Morgan; her brother: Troy Lester; step-father: Jess Stevens.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially having cookouts with everyone, and she loved going to the races.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss, in addition to her mother; Mary (Kovach) Lester Stevens, is her daughter: Lynn (Johnny Ray) Belcher of Williamson; her son: Phillip (Debbie) Lester of Man; sisters: Barbara (William) Gordon of Gilbert, Linda (Rodney) LeFevers of Cub Creek, and Vonda Lester of Bradshaw; her brother: Charles (Betty) Lester of Gilbert; grandchildren: Elijah Lester, Austin Hatfield, Malik Lester, Crisiah Lester, and Dorles Raelynn Belcher.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Michael Browning and Rev. Roger Endicott officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in Gilbert, WV.

Sharon will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: John Ray Belcher, Matthew, Corey, and Charles Lester, Joshua LeFevers, and Danny Blankenship.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
