Susan Michelle (Hunt) Albright

Susan Michelle (Hunt) Albright, 54 of Lorado, WV left her earthly home for her heavenly home on Saturday, June 3, 2023 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 2, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio to Myrtle (Colegrove) Hunt and the late Martin Virgil Hunt.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her son: Kenneth Edward Grimmett; and a beautiful grandchild no one was able to meet.

A homemaker, Susan was a devoted loving mother, mamaw, and friend.  She loved being a mother and grandmother, she also loved walking, serving her God, and going to church when she could, she especially loved her companion dog Paisley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving mother: Myrtle Hunt of Lorado, WV; her two beautiful daughters: Brandi (Jonathan) Pence of Golden Valley, Arizona, and Christina (Jacob) Canterbury of King, North Carolina; one beautiful granddaughter: Megan Pierson of Lundale, WV; five grandsons: Thane, Dante, and Warrick Pence of Golden Valley, Arizona, Little Jake Canterbury and “Baby Nugget” Canterbury (as she liked to call him), on the way, both of King, North Carolina; a brother: Martin Hunt of Huntington, WV; a sister: Cynthia Hunt of Lorado, WV; two aunts: Juanita (sis) Harvey Booth of Crown, WV, and Fran Mullins of Grafton, Ohio; special friend: Patty (Thomas) McComas of Craneco, WV.  Susan also leaves behind a host of special nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

To honor her wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
