Sylvia Elaine (Trent) Robinette

Sylvia Elaine (Trent) Robinette, 81 of Baisden, departed this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born August 8, 1940 at Panther, WV., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Myrtle (Lively) Trent.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Shelvin Robinette; sons: Michael Wayne and Daniel Everett Robinette; daughter-in-law; Debbie Diane Robinette.

Sylvia was a loving mother, and grandmother who loved everyone, especially her grandchildren, she was a Godly Christian woman, who loved her church and her church family.  She was a member of the Sprattsville Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her sons: Larry Robinette of Welch, Kenneth C. (Ginger) Robinette of Justice; grandson: Kenneth L. (Ronnie) Robinette of Delbarton; granddaughter: Kayla D Robinette (Dustin Hall) of Georgetown, KY; sister: Donna Eldridge of Martinsville, VA.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 till 9:00 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Endicott and Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV.

Sylvia will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
