Tamera J. (Mounts) Vance

Tamera J. Vance. 56 of Gilbert Creek, WV went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2020 at her home.

Born December 23, 1963 at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carol (Browning) Mounts.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son: Gary Joseph Vance; her brother: Gregory Joe Mounts.

Tammy liked to talk to her friends on the internet, but she loved going to church at Faith Church of God at Ben Creek.  She loved her church family dearly.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her passing are her husband of 40 years: Gary Vance of the home; her daughter: Natasha (Roy) Blankenship of Matewan; a special sister: Crystal (Norwood) Harrison of Baisden; her loving brothers: Keith (lisa) Mounts of Ikes fork and Joey (Mary) Mounts of Ben Creek; 3 grandchildren that she loved dearly and was very proud of: Starling Blankenship, Braxton Belcher, and Baylee Blankenship.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, with special service at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence Thursday, October 15, 2020 in the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Danny Ward and Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wayne and Fannie Browning Cemetery at Wharncliffe, WV.

Tammy will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
