Terri Leigh (Butcher) Baker, 53, of Mill Creek, departed this life Saturday November 14, 2020 from her residence.
Born on January 8, 1967 at Logan, she was the daughter of Gary Butcher and the late Eva Irene Spears.
In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her son: Nicholas Baker; special aunt: Connie Butcher.
Terri loved helping others, she was active in both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, she enjoyed helping out at several summer camps, she enjoyed spending time with all the children, grandkids, and all her family and friends, she got great joy from helping everyone in her life. She loved the beach. Terri attended Victory Freewill Baptist Church.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband: Dwane Baker of Mill Creek; father: Gary (Carol) Butcher of Man; daughters: Megan Smith of Hamlin and Haleigh Baker (Justin) of Chapmanville; sons: Tyler Baker (Montana), Austin Baker (Samantha), all of Mill Creek and Shain Baker of Charleston; sisters: Cara New (J.R.) and Cayla Butcher, all of Man; brothers: Mark Butcher (Stacy) and Martin Butcher, all of Grafton; grandchildren: Kylee Butcher, Zoey Basadre, Tristan Smith, Elijah Ward, Charlie Baker, Bentley Baker, Bailea Baker; lifelong best friends: Tammy Ellis and Tomalene Hodge. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will commence at 2:00 with Rev. Rocky Chafin officiating.
To honor her wishes, her remains will be cremated following services.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
