Terry Dale Likens

Terry Dale Likens, 69 of Verner, WV departed this life peacefully Sunday, December 1, 2024, to be with his Lord and Savior from his residence.  Born June 21, 1955, at Logan, WV, he was the son of Ruth (Conley) and the late McCager Likens.
In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his great nephew: Elijah Drew; brother-in-law: Curt Cline; father-in-law: Curtis (Buddy) Cline.

Terry had worked as a truck driver and a coal miner.  He was an avid “Hot Rod” and “Harley” lover, he enjoyed working as a mechanic on anything that needed fixed or worked on, and he especially loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the Four Winds Tabernacle.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years: Angela (Cline) Likens; his daughter: Mallory Likens “Daddy’s Baby Girl”; son: Justin Likens, all of Verner, WV; mother: Ruth (Conley) Likens; brother: Harold (Joyce) Likens; sisters: Etta Jo (David) Davis, Pam (Shane) Callaway, Lou (Brian) Settlemire; nieces: Britany (Jose) Torres, Natasha Cline, Stephanie (Larry) Gorby, Tara Danielle Drew; nephews: Joshua (Lora) Cline, Trinity Shane (Amanda) Likens; great niece: Nevaeh Likens; great nephews: Cage Toney, Sawyer, Kaysen, Tanner, Colby, and KeAundre Likens, D’Vonte and D’Aundre Drew, Liam and Mila Daryanani, Leia Torres, Ryker (Ryland), Kyle, and Kynslee Cline; Mother-in-law: Rita Cline; sisters-in-law: Nina (Joey) Cline and Tina Cline; special family and friends: Elaine and Mike Miller, Annette and Greg Wood, Connie and Darren Browning, Chelsea and Scott Mounts, Kipton and Konor Mounts, Grace and Brent Lester, Greg and Kayla Hurley, Lisa Bailey.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear friends and relatives.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1:00 till 3:00 pm at the Four Winds Tabernacle where funeral services will commence at 3:00 pm with Pastors Kenneth Poole and Dewey Lusk officiating.

In honoring his request, he will be cremated following services.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
