Timmy Grant Morgan, 62 of Long Branch, Simon, WV departed this life Saturday, June 29, 2024, from St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, WV.
Born August 1, 1961, at Iaeger, WV he was the son of the late Norma Jean (Tiller) and Frank “Doe” Morgan.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister: Melinda (Morgan) Lovejoy; maternal grandparents: Walter Harmon and Zelia (Bailey) Morgan; paternal grandparents: Elbert and Ether (Browning) Tiller; special cousin: Dexter Kennedy.
Tim enjoyed digging different types of roots and ginseng, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sisters: Tammy Payne of Oceana, Melva “Fuzz” Toler of Clearfork, Sherry (Steven) May of Ikes Fork; brothers: Terry (Ann) Morgan of Princeton, Logan (Stephanie) Morgan of Ikes Fork, Shane (Kayla) Morgan of Coal Mountain; fiancé: Pam Fortner of Simon, and her daughter, Natasha (Chris Ramsey) Huff; grandchildren: Bryson Huff, Payton May, Arieonna Huff, and Ericka Potter; special nieces: Jessica (Kevin) Kenneda and Devan “Big Sack” Hatfield, Benita (Jeremy) Hunt; nephews: T.J. Toler, Dewayne (Leslie) West, Ryan Lester, and Eric Morgan; great nieces: Kylee Kenneda, Lynzee, and Remington Toler, Kaysley, Bristol, and Makinley Morgan; great nephew: Grayson Morgan; aunts: Barb Tiller of Verner, Adeline Adams of Clearfork, Polly Jones of Oceana; uncle: Jimmy (Nancy) Tiller of Hampden; his maw Eve; special friends: Stacy Toler, Kelly Conn, and Jack (Bonnie) Morgan, who he loved like a father. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Monday, July 8, 2024, after 6:00 pm at the Upper Room Jesus Name Church at Long Branch. Funeral services will commence there at the church on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Brad Kennedy and Rev. Gary Toler officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery on Long Branch Mountain, Simon, WV.
Tim will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Morgan, Stacy Toler, Jimmy Tiller, and Curtis Walls.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
