Timothy Reiger, 50 of Lynco, WV departed this life Saturday, December 14, 2024, from Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio June 13, 1974, he was the son of Inez (Walker) Reiger and the late Roger Reiger.
In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his brother: Dennis Strichko; his sister: Marybeth Reiger.
Timothy was a genuine man full of life, he spent most of his life in Florida. He was always putting other people’s needs before his own and would give the shirt off his back to anybody who needed it. He always put a smile on everyone’s face and knew how to make everyone laugh. He was a handyman who enjoyed tinkering with cars, listening to Metallica, doing construction and carpentry, attending family events, and spending time with his family. Most of all, he especially loved watching his grandchildren grow up.
Timothy is survived by his wife, (separated) BettyJo (Garland) Reiger; his children: Kayla (Logan) McCarthy, Madisen Reiger and companion Timothy Meredith, Timothy Reiger, II., and companion Katlynn Davis; his fiancée: Susan Boser, their children Keith Reiger and Stella Reiger; his mother: Inez (Walker) Reiger; grandchildren: Liliana McCarthy, Logan McCarthy, Jr., Legacy Meredith, Elijah Reiger, Kianna Reiger, and Lana Meredith; his sisters: Kim Reiger and Shelly (Derrick) Boroday; his brother: Robert Reiger; nephews: Robby Golden and Bradley Reiger. He also leaves behind a host of other dear family and friends.
In honoring his request, Timothy was cremated.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
