Timothy Adam Smith, (Timmy Joe), 52 of Horsepen WV, departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his residence, after a long illness.
Born March 31, 1972, he was the son of Timothy and Minnie Mae (Richardson) Smith.
Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Mae, his maternal grandparents, Millard & Naomi (Martin) Roach and paternal grandparents Willie and Mabel (Belcher) Smith.
He was an electrician in the coal mines. Some of Timothy’s favorite things to do were spend time with his family and friends. He loved to work on cars, and he could fix anything. He was always a cutup, and he could make anyone laugh.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife Mistie (Blankenship) Smith of the home; his sisters, Heather (Howard) Baisden of Delbarton, WV, and Stephanie Smith of Beckley WV, his sons Chris Cline, Timothy James Smith, Ian Hatfield & his daughter Tierra Biddell (Matthew Browning); father: Timmy Smith. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will commence there at the chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lowell Smith and Rev. Haskell Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV.
Timothy will be carried to his final resting place by his family and friends.
His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
