Twila Smith

Twila Lester Smith, 47 of Bluefield, WV departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Twila was born on September 23, 1970 at Williamson, WV to Deborah Cline Lester and the late Cornell Lester. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her loving husband: Roger Smith; and brother: Cornell "Pooker" Lester Jr. Twila was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was of the Church of God Faith. Those left to love and cherish the memories of Twila and to mourn her passing include her son: Dustin (Carey) Smith of Gauley Bridge; her mother: Deborah Lester of Bluefield; her beautiful granddaughter: Devlin Brook Smith of Gauley Bridge; and a host of other dear family and friends. Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Denny May officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Log Cemetery at Baisden, WV. Twila will be carried to her final resting place by: Dustin Smith, Scott Cline, Wesley Smith, Brian Smith, Robbie Smith and James Smith. She is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
