Vanno Christian

Vanno Christian, 80 of Baisden, WV departed this life Thursday, June 8, 2023 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born February 5, 1943 he was the son of the late Polly (Roberts) and Mose Christian.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Leona (Trent) Christian; sisters: Vidie Berry, Versie Stanley, and Verla Christian; brothers: Virgil, Verlo, Vinson, and Verlin Christian.

Vanno was an Army Veteran.  He enjoyed watching western programs, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sons: Vanno Charles Christian and Michael Christian, both of Baisden, WV; daughter Elaine Christian of North Carolina; stepdaughter: Tina (Tim) Coy of Baisden, WV; stepsons: Harlan (Loretta) Christian of Glen Rogers, Carlos (Marlana) Christian, and Dwayne (Kayla) Christian, all of Baisden, WV.   He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

To honor his request, he has been cremated.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
