Virginia Rose Elswick Cline, 96 of Delbarton, formerly of Wharncliffe went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from her residence.
Born on August 14, 1924 in Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ranse and Madgie (Justus) Elswick.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Rutherford Cline; 3 sons: Ronnie Cline, Donnie Cline and Troy Cline; special daughter-in-law: Gloria Dawn Cline.
Virginia enjoyed shopping, watching Days of Our Lives, cooking, and feeding people, but her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. She was a Godly woman, who loved and cared for everyone.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her 3 sons: Rutherford (Jane) Cline, Jr. of New Holland, Pa, Rickie Cline of Wharncliffe, and Billie (Sandra) Cline of St. Albans; 3 daughters: LaReine (Dale) Dingess of Wharncliffe, Sarah (Richard) Hall of Delbarton, with whom she made her home, Barbara (Albert) Grimmett of Horsepen; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren. Virginia also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 4:00 till 5:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 5:00 pm with Rev. Eddie Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden, WV.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
