William "Bill" Patrick

William “Bill” Patrick, 42 of Wharncliffe, departed this life Saturday, June 4, 2022 from Pikeville Medical Center. 

Born on September 13, 1979 he was the son of Craig and Deborah (Murphy) Patrick.

Bill is preceded in death by Arlin Murphy, Arlin Dale Murphy, Joann Patrick, and Johnny Patrick. Bill enjoyed riding, playing cornhole, singing karaoke, and enjoying time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed life, and he lived it to the fullest. He was a member of the Ben Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his loving wife: Christin Patrick; daughter: Mckensi Patrick; son: Bradley Patrick; mother: Debbie (Jim) Boals, all of Wharncliffe; father: Craig (Inez) Patrick of Blackberry, KY; grandmother: Patti Murphy of Wharncliffe; sisters: Breanna (Josh) Wolford, Deidre (Kevin) Butler; uncles: Danny (Natachia) Murphy, John (Sara) Patrick, Michael (Shawnery) Patrick, Joseph Patrick; aunts: Missy (Timmy) Hatfield, Maryann (Jarrett) Marsingill, and Tammy Cohenour. He also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will commence there at the chapel on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Denny May and Bro. James Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Alum Cemetery on the river at Wharncliffe.

Bill will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Danny Murphy, Josh Wolford, Little Joe Runyon, Scott Runyon, David Abbott, and David Breeding.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.

Following the funeral, everyone is invited to the family residence to play a Corn Hole tournament, and to celebrate his life. If you have corn hole boards, please bring them.
