Elouise Hatfield

Elouise Hatfield, 78, of Coal Mountain, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 25, 2007, at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born July 13, 1928, at Coal Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Oley and Ruby Morgan Hatfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Alonzo (Fletch) Hatfield and one grandson, Phillip Andrew Hatfield. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Alvin P. (Violet) Hatfield of Brier Creek, two sisters: Mary (Bueford) Lester of Oceana, and Glenna Hatfield of Coal Mountain, four brothers: James Hatfield of Logan Center, Jack (Adele) Hatfield, Arden (Kat) Hatfield, and Rondell Hatfield all of Coal Mountain, three grandchildren: Melissa ( Mark) Atkinson of Charleston, Melanie Hatfield of Athens and Melinda Hatfield of Brier Creek, two great grandchildren Audrey and Claire Atkinson of Charleston. She also leaves behind a host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and many special friends. Friends may call at the Big Cub Missionary Baptist Church at Coal Mountain, on Monday, May 28, 2007 after 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Big Cub Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Hatfield and Rev. Allen Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Coal Mountain Community Cemetery, Coal Mountain, WV. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
