Grady Earmon Morgan, 66 of Simon, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2011, at his residence.
Born on February 4, 1944 at Simon, he was the son of the late Chester and Millie Morgan Morgan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons: Earmon and Virgus Morgan; one brother, Elbie Morgan; one brother-in-law, Arson Keneda; and two nephews: Aaron Keneda and Clinton Huff.
Grady was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a coal miner and a born again Christian of the Freewill Baptist faith. Grady loved to hunt, fish, garden, just being outdoors, and spending time with his wonderful family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and mourn his passing include his loving wife of 17 years, Brenda Morgan of Simon; his two daughters: Sharon (Bobby) Coffey of Lynco and Jolena (Ronnie) Hatfield of Oceana; his son, Christopher (Heather) Morgan of Simon; his two step-sons: Johnathan (Sheila) Haynes of Huff Creek and Jason (Tracy) Haynes of Ecorse Michigan; his fourteen grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; his two brothers: James (Juanita) Morgan of Simon and Claude (Annette) Morgan of Bluefield; his four sisters: Susan Keneda of Lester, Veronda (Jimmy) Harrison of Hurricane, Zola (Gary) Huff of Simon, and Nola (Kenny) Harless of Bland VA; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church at Simon on Friday, January 7th after 6:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 8th at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Blankenship and Bro. Landon Blankenship officiating.
Burial will follow in the Milty Morgan Cemetery at Long Branch of Simon.
He will be carried to his final resting place by: John Haynes, Casey and Cory Morgan, Josh Hatfield, and Dusty and Tanner Huff.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Visitation: Friday, January 7th after 6:00 pm
Funeral: Saturday, January 8th at 1:00 pm
