Liddie Neace, 73, of Justice, departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at her residence.
Born on October 16, 1935, at Pigeon Roost Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lacy B. and Joanna (Taylor) Howell.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one son, Carlos Howell; one daughter, Loretta Lynn Neace; and two brothers: Garland and T J Howell.
Liddie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Liddie are: her loving husband, Franklin LeRoy Neace of Justice; her four sons: LeRoy (Robin) Neace, Jr., of North Spring, Gregory Grant and Phillip Patrick Neace, both of Justice, and Sammy Joe (Ramona) Neace of Madison; her two daughters: Iva Dean (Butch) Daughtery of North Spring and Pearlie Francis (Fiance Jason) Neace of Justice; her two brothers: Milford (Hazel) Howell of Justice and Freddie (Nell) Howell of Lovely KY; her eleven grandchildren: Kayla, Isaac, LeRoy (Drema) III, Joshua, Natasha, and Jeremiah Neace, Victoria and Adam (Jamie) Daughtery, Tennie Lynn (Jared) Hurley, Ashley (Dennis) Wiley, and Donnie Howell; her seven great grandchildren: Jacob Daughtery, Lilly Rassmusen, Emily and Kaylee Hurley, "Little" LeRoy III, Christina and Jonathan Neace; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends called at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Saturday, January 17th from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 18th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl "Cab" Wolford officiating.
Burial followed in the Davis Cemetery at Justice.
Liddie was carried to her final resting place by: Adam Daughtery, James Regan, Ethan Browning, Kip Neace, Shawn Neace, LeRoy "JR" Neace III, and Jason Crouse.
Honorary pallbearers were: Isaac Neace , Jacob Daughtery, Buford Daughtery, Milford & Freddie Howell, and Filmore Neace.
